Check back to hear our story

This web site will articulate the efforts I made starting in 1992 to preserve the two Historic Gas Station on the Saw Mill River Parkway, Hastings on Hudson between Farragut Avenue and Tompkins Avenue. Efforts along the Saw Mill River Parkway.
I am reaching out to share a story that blends local history, community advocacy, and federal litigation. On December 1, 2025 I filed a federal complaint in the Southern District of New York to address the longstanding neglect of historic rest stops along the Saw Mill River Parkway.
This will feature photographs, archival research, and updates on the case. The site highlights both the cultural significance of these sites and the community’s growing support for their preservation.
I believe this issue offers a compelling narrative about accountability, heritage, and grassroots action. I would welcome the chance to provide further details, interviews, or supporting materials.
Thank you for considering coverage of this important effort and feel free to reach out to me directly.
